有人说Some people say，不喜欢看动画片的家长 Parents who never watch a cartoon movie 都不是合格的家长 are not qualified parents。
以前 Before 我不敢这么说 I wouldn’t dare to be so rude，现在发现 but now I realize 几乎所有家长 that almost all parents 都比我小一截 are younger than me，我也就不客气了 I decided to release my big mouth。
大多数中国年轻人 Most young people in China 都喜欢宫崎骏动画 love Hayao Miyazaki animations 、迪士尼动画 and Disney animations，因为他们都是看着这些电影长大的 because they grew up while watching those movies，其中包括一些年轻爸爸妈妈 including some of the young dads and moms。但是中国家长中 But among the Chinese parents，确实有很多对动画片不屑一顾的 there are quite a few of them that never pay attention to animations，他们认为 they believe 动画片 animated films 都是给孩子看的 are for children to watch。
我妈妈虽然是个老人 My mother is an old lady，但也代表了这个时代很多农村家长的认知水准 but she does represents the majority of rural audience nowadays，比如，她就觉得我这个儿子这么大了还喜欢看动画片挺丢脸的 for example, she is ashamed of me, her mid-aged son, still enjoying cartoons 。
实际上In fact，《海底总动员》这样的动画片 Animated films such as Finding Nemo 是在电影院放映的 are made for cinema，如果只是 If they are just 给小孩子看 for kids to watch，绝对收不回本there is no way they can recover the costs。这些电影的目标观众 The target audience of these movies 是家人 are families，大人带着孩子共同去欣赏 parents and children are expected to go to cinemas together。不过 However 这篇文章 this article 指的是动画电影 only talks about cartoon movies，并不包括《小猪佩琪》这样的动画电视连续剧 it does not cover TV series such as Peppa Pig，他们的目标受众是完全不一样的 they have totally different audiences。
为什么家长 Why parents 必须学会 must learn 欣赏动画片 to appreciate cartoons？只是为了 Just for 高质量地陪孩子吗 high-quality family hours？显然不是 Obviously not 。

小丑鱼尼莫的奋力抗争Nemo’s fighting，虽然惊险万状 although appears quite dangerous，但他最终变得非常坚强勇敢 eventually made him brave and strong。
所以 Therefore，今年山水之间冬令营 in this year’s inMountains winter camp 我们要让孩子们反复观看这部电影《FINDING NEMO》we are going to organize our children to watch this movie Finding Nemo for a few times，在帮助他们提高英语听力的同时 while improving their English listening skill，这只桔黄色的好莱坞小丑鱼the orange clown fish from Hollywood会教同学们学会在必要的时候，要为自己的未来争取发言权 will teach them to reach for their right of speech when their own future is to be planned, whenever necessary，哪怕抗争的对象是父母 even they may have to fight with their parents。
