The Three Little Pigs

曾经，有一只老母猪，她有三只小猪崽，但是没有足够的食物喂养它们。所以当这三只小猪长到足够大的时候，母猪把他们送到外面的世界，让他们自谋生路。

Once upon a time 曾经 there was 有 an old mother pig 一只老母猪 who had three little pigs 她有三只小猪崽仔 and not enough food 但是没有足够的食物 to feed them 来喂养它们. So 所以 when they were 当它们有 old enough 足够大, she sent them out 她送它们出去 into the world 进入世界 to seek their fortunes 寻找它们的好运.

第一只小猪很懒。它根本就不想干活，它用干草做了一个房子。第二只小猪比它要勤快，但是也有点懒，它用木棍做了一个房子。然后，这两只小猪就开始唱歌跳舞，剩下的时间里只是玩。
The first little pig 第一只小猪 was very lazy很懒. He didn’t want 他不想 to work 工作 at all 一点都不 and he built his house 它建造自己的房子 out of straw 用的是干草. The second 第二只 little pig 小猪 worked 工作 a little bit harder 要努力一点 but he was 但是他 somewhat lazy too 也有点懒 and he built his house 他建造他的房子 out of sticks 用的是木棍. Then 然后, they sang 他们就唱歌 and danced 跳舞 and played together 一起玩 the rest of the day 在接下来的一天里.

The next day第二天, a wolf 一只狼happened to pass by 碰巧经过 the lane 这条巷子 where the three little pigs 这三只小猪 lived 居住的; and he saw 他看见了 the straw house 干草屋, and he smelled 他闻到了 the pig 猪 inside 里面的.

他想这只猪味道肯定不错，想着想着嘴巴就开始流涎。

He thought 他想 the pig 这只猪 would make a mighty fine meal 可以充当一顿不错的大餐 and his mouth 他的嘴巴 began to water 开始流涎.

所以他就敲了敲门，说道：
So 所以 he knocked on the door 他敲响了门 and said 说道:

Little pig! Little pig! 小猪小猪
Let me in! Let me in! 让我进去让我进去

但是小猪通过钥匙孔看到了狼的大爪子，所以他就回答道：
But the little pig 但是小猪 saw the wolf’s 看见了狼的 big paws 大爪子 through the keyhole 通过钥匙孔, so he 所以他 answered back 回答道:

No! No! No!
Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin!
不不不，我用我下巴上的毛发誓，绝对不给你开门。

所以狼就裂开嘴，现出尖牙，说道：
So the wolf 所以狼 showed his teeth 露出尖牙 and said 说道:

那我就吹，我要把你的房子吹倒。
Then I’ll huff 那我就吹
and I’ll puff 我要吹
and I’ll blow 我要吹 your house down 你的房子倒下.

所以他就吹啊吹，真的把房子给吹倒了！狼张开血盆大口，用力地撕咬，但是第一只小猪已经逃跑了，他躲到了第二只小猪那里去了。
So he huffed and he puffed 所以他吹啊吹 and he blew the house down他把房子吹倒了! The wolf 狼 opened his jaws 张开下巴 very wide 很宽 and bit down 撕咬 as hard as he could非常用力, but the first 但是第一只 little pig 小猪 escaped 逃脱了 and ran away 跑开了 to hide 躲藏起来 with the second 和第二只 little pig 小猪.

狼继续沿着这条巷子往前走，经过了第二栋用木棍做的房子，他看到房子，闻到了里面的 猪的味道，嘴里又开始流涎，心想这两只猪可以好好吃一顿。
The wolf 狼continued 继续 down the lane 顺着巷子走 and he passed by 他经过 the second house 第二栋房子 made of sticks 用树棍做的; and he saw 并且他看见了 the house房子, and he smelled 他问到了 the pigs 小猪们 inside里面的, and his mouth 他的嘴巴 began to water 开始流涎 as he thought about 因为他想 the fine dinner 一顿不错的晚餐 they would make 几只小猪可以做.

所以他敲门说道：
So he knocked on the door and said:

小猪小猪
Little pigs! Little pigs!
Let me in! Let me in!让我进去让我进去！

但是两只小猪透过钥匙孔看到了狼那尖尖的耳朵，所以他们就回答道：
But 但是 the little pigs 小猪们 saw the wolf’s 看到了狼的 pointy ears 尖尖的耳朵 through the keyhole 通过钥匙孔, so they 所以他们 answered back回答道:

不不不，我用我下巴上的毛发誓，绝对不放你进来！
No! No! No!
Not 不会 by the hairs 用毛 on our chinny chin chin 我们的下巴!

所以狼显露出了尖牙，说道：
So the wolf 所以狼 showed his teeth 露出尖牙 and said 说道:

那我就吹，
Then I’ll huff
and I’ll puff
and I’ll blow your house down!我要把你的房子吹倒。

所以他就吹啊吹，真的把房子给吹倒了！
So he huffed and he puffed 所以他就吹啊吹，and he blew the house down真的把房子给吹倒了!

狼很贪婪，他想把两只猪都抓住，但是他太贪心了，一只都没抓到！

The wolf 狼 was greedy 很贪婪 and he tried to 他尝试 catch both pigs 抓住两只猪 at once 立即, but 但是 he was too greedy 他太贪心了 and got neither 一只都没抓到!

它的大爪子扑了个空，两只小猪仓皇跑开了。

His big jaws 他的大爪子 clamped down on nothing 扑到个空 but air除了空气 and the two little pigs 两只小猪 scrambled away 仓皇逃走 as fast 尽可能地快 as their little hooves 只要它们的小肥腿 would carry them可以带得起他们.

狼在巷子里跟在它们后面追，差一点就抓到了它们。
The wolf chased them 狼追它们 down the lane 沿着巷子 and he almost 它差一点 caught them抓住了它们.

但是它们逃进了砖头房子，在狼抓住它们之前就立刻关上了门。

But they 但是他们 made it 一路跑 to the brick house 到了砖房那里 and slammed the door closed 砰地关上门 before the wolf 在狼 could catch them 可以抓住它们之前.

三只小猪很害怕，它们知道狼想吃掉它们。

So the wolf 所以狼knocked on the door 敲响了门 and said说道：:

Little pigs! Little pigs!

但是小猪们透过钥匙孔看到了狼那双眯成一条缝的眼睛，所以他们就回答道：
But the little pigs 但是小猪们saw 看到了the wolf’s narrow eyes 狼那双眯成一条缝的眼睛through the keyhole透过钥匙孔, so所以 they answered back他们就回答道:

不不不！
No! No! No!
Not by the hairs on our chinny chin chin!我用下巴上的毛发誓，绝对不放你进来！

所以狼显露出尖牙，说道：
So the wolf showed his teeth and said:

那我就吹，我要把你的房子吹倒。
Then I’ll huff
and I’ll puff
and I’ll blow your house down.

这一次，他吹啊吹，吹啊吹，但是怎么也没办法把房子吹倒。
Well! he huffed and he puffed. He puffed and he huffed. And he huffed, huffed, and he puffed, puffed; but he could not blow the house down.

最后，他已经喘不过气来了，再也吹不动了。所以他停下来休息，想了想。
At last最后，, he was so out of breath他已经喘不过气来了， that he couldn’t huff and he couldn’t puff anymore再也吹不动了. So 所以he stopped他停下来 to rest休息 and thought a bit想了想.

但是它觉得羞辱难当，暴跳如雷，发誓它要从烟囱下去，把小猪当作晚餐。
But 但是this was too much 这太过分了. The wolf 狼 danced about with rage 暴跳如雷 and swore 发誓 he would come down the chimney 他要顺着烟囱下去 and eat up the little pig 吃光小猪 for his supper 做晚餐.
但是当他从屋顶往下爬的时候，小猪们燃起了火，架起一口大锅，里面盛满了水，等着水烧开。
But while he was climbing 但是当他爬 on to the roof 上屋顶的时候，the little pig 小猪 made up a blazing fire 生起大火 and put on a big pot 架起一口大锅 full of water 装满了水 to boil 等着烧开.

然后，正当狼沿着烟囱往下爬的时候，小猪们猛地揭开锅盖，狼扑通一声掉到了滚烫的开水锅里！
Then 然后, just as the wolf 正当狼 was coming down the chimney沿着烟囱往下爬的时候, the little piggy 小猪们 pulled off the lid 揭开锅盖, and plop 扑通一声! in fell the wolf 狼掉了进去 into the scalding water进了滚烫的开水里.

小猪们盖上锅盖，将狼煮熟了，三只小猪享用了一顿晚餐。
So 所以 the little piggy 小猪们put on the cover 盖上盖子 again 又, boiled the wolf up把狼煮熟, and the three little pigs 然后三只小猪 ate him吃掉了他 for supper当作晚餐.
